Content Avalanche is Almost Complete

Wednesday, December 5th, 2007

December 03, 2007 Pawel Reszka launched a Free Warrior Special Offer promoting the creation of free webpages on his website www.affhelper.com If you do a search in Google for affiliate marketing, you will notice that his site comes up on the first page of results. Additionally, Pawel also welcomed anyone creating a custom html page on his site to place a link of there choice into their user generated page.

If you haven’t realized it yet, Pawel has the beta version currently running on his site and he is testing it out to find any bugs in the script prior to any sales. You can create your own custom html page on his site through the Content Avalanche Script by visiting www.affhelper.com/marketers/ Check out the Content Avalanche script and you will see that you can customize it for nearly any html site. I have already created a user generated html page on his copy of Content Avalanche. Check out my custom html page review of Content Avalanche. Seeing the script in action is good news and you should see Content Avalanche available on a WSO pretty soon.

Link Building… The Key to Affiliate Marketing

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

Let’s get something straight… Your links need to be relevant to your site if you want them to ever have any SEO value in the first place. Back in the day, Google mainly looked at how many links you had; they didn’t care where your links were coming from. Today; however, things are a little different. Google is not only paying attention to how many links you have, but what types of links they are, where they are coming from, the priority of ranking assigned to your linking partner ect.

In order to successfully build links to your site, you first have to recognize what keyword you are attempting to rank for, then you can begin to work on link building. If you are attempting to target a keyword like “affiliate marketing” then you should link to your site through that keyphrase. This goes for links both on and off of your site. For example, instead of calling your homepage “Home”, call it “Affiliate Marketing” or whatever keyphrase you are targeting.

Use this linking principle throughout all of your article writing efforts and you shouldn’t go wrong. As far as going for true Partner Links, you are going to have to follow a few additional rules. First off, no one is going to want to exchange links with you for a reciprocal link, if your Links or Partners page is not indexed in Google. Therefore; your first challenge is to get your Partners page indexed. This may sound easy, but it may take a bit of work because the GoogleBot knows all about Partners pages.

Your Partner Links should be very relevant to your site, most likely they may even bare some resemblance to your site as well. This will be good as far as indicating relevancy to Google. By now you should have realized that Relevancy is the most important piece of the puzzle.

Another question you may have is, “How many Partner Links do I need for my site?” I have some good news for you here. You do not need very many Partner Links. This may not seem to make any sense at first, but it is actually quite simple. If you put too many links on a page without content, then GoogleBot will believe that the page is a link farm. (Page with just loads of irrelevant links.) Link farms are popular from the early stages of the internet when it didn’t matter what quality of link you had, just that you had a lot of them.

I believe that the magic number is 25. It may have changed plus or minus 2 or 3 from time to time, but the number you want to target is 25 very relevant Partner Links. This will reserve your Partners Page as a page that will be looked at differently by GoogleBot. Additionally, you will benefit from the link relevancy of your reciprocal links that are placed on these pages since they will increase the relevance of your Partners Page itself.

Why is Internet and Affiliate Marketing so Challenging?

Wednesday, October 31st, 2007

This is an honest question and I’m sure you have asked yourself the same thing many times. So why is it so difficult to succeed in your own online ventures? Obviously, people have made it in this business and many are making what the average working class citizen makes annually in less than a month.

So what’s the deal?

The truth of the matter is that there are many different business models, which are highly successful and it seems like every marketer wants to let others know how he made it. Well, that’s good and all, but you cannot attempt to use everyone’s business model and be successful. What happens when you attempt this is after you have acquired all of the information you can about these models, you crash. You suffer from what internet marketers have dubbed as “Information Overload.”

Typically, a rookie affiliate marketer will start off looking for ways to make money online. He (or she) has built a few websites and believes that it can be done. So the rookie finds an ebook that shows how to make money online by promoting affiliate programs using free techniques. It sounds great and it appeals to a new internet marketer’s budget. Well, the new marketer purchases the ebook, reads it thoroughly, and begins to put some of the techniques into practice. Suddenly, an email from a well-known internet marketing guru arrives and he is offering an outstanding deal on his Warrior Forum secrets. The rookie makes the purchase and now there are two projects to focus on instead of just one main project, which is more than enough.

This is how the Information Overload Virus attacks. Stick to just one major project at a time. Additionally, don’t forget to put your own spin on some of the business models out there. Use some of your own creativity and make it your own. This is why successful marketers stay focused. When you have a great idea that is your own, you definitely want to give birth to it. I’m not saying to re-invent the wheel, but do take the time to modify and customize the ideas that come to you.

The Warrior Forum: An Excellent Resource

Wednesday, October 24th, 2007

If you are not a “Warrior” yet, then you need to visit www.warriorforum.com now. There you can keep up on the most current events and issues in internet marketing as well as make numerous contacts. Successful marketing depends on your ability to communicate with others and make deals such as Joint Ventures, Beta Tests, ect. At the Warrior Forum, you can post new topics, ask for help, get advice, and send personal messages to other Warriors. John Reese, Mike Filsaime, and many other major internet marketers all frequent the forum. This is why you need to sign up and spend sometime at the Warrior Forum.

In addition to meeting fellow internet marketers, you can also submit your articles on the Warrior Forum. Here, internet marketers will not only be able to find your articles, but they can also contact you as well if you seem to present something of interest. Additionally, every time you make a post, your signature file containing a link to your site will appear. Google’s googlebot checks the Warrior Forum very often since it is one of the largest and oldest internet marketing forums in existence. So every page of the forum is spidered by Google within moments. Just think about how many links you can gain just from making frequent posts on the forum! The average active marketer on the forum has about 100 to 200 posts. That’s 100 to 200 one-way links to your site!

If all of these benefits weren’t enough, marketers also offer free copies of their marketing secrets ebooks in the Free ebooks Section. You can find a vast collection of resources here. Just be careful not to get a case of information overload and stick to ebooks of interest.

Finally, the Warrior Forum also allows its members to post Warrior Special offers. Warriors get to benefit from low prices on newly released products, and Warriors making a WSO can kick start their projects by selling their product to many other marketers at the low cost of $20. I once sold 32 copies of an ebook I wrote on a WSO within 4 hours! Just think about the amount of money you would spend on Adwords to make that many sales. If you are not a member of the Warrior Forum yet, then visit www.warriorforum

User Generated Content Benefits

Wednesday, May 9th, 2007

Site CommentsGrowth is the most important factor in the development of your site. I mean, let’s face it. The only way your site is going to achieve noticeable rankings and thus bring in revenue is through your contributions. However; something you may not have realized is the contributions of your visitors.

Think about it… Your visitors came to your site in search of valuable content either to find answers to their questions or to sometimes provide their own viewpoints. This is why forums maintain the interest of their visitors. People want to interact. All you have to do is provide them with the means to add content.

Because of all of the postings on forums, a particular forum may contain thousands of web pages. The owner of the forum only has to moderate and do some housekeeping in order to continually profit from Adsense and other advertising strategies through affiliate programs.

Now I know that you may have considered placing a forum on your site in the past and thought, “This is going to be quite a headache since I’m going to have to moderate everything myself.” Well, there are other options. Look at Squidoo.com for example. Their website currently has 228,000 indexed web pages on Google and is still continuing to grow. Why? Because their web pages are all user generated. Granted there are still some housekeeping operations to be carried out, but the profits being generated by the ads on those pages is well worth the effort.

Squidoo.com may be an extreme case of user generated content, but let’s look at some other alternatives. First off, you could place a Blog on your site such as this one. Visitors can leave remarks and comments to each posting and guess what? That’s user generated content as well. Additionally, you gain traffic benefits as well as the user generated content on your site.

Another option is the use of a site commenting software such as Site Comments. With this tool, your visitors can leave a testimonial, opinion, or even beneficial information to your other visitors; all of which are forms of user generated content.

Site Comments is an outstanding tool, which can allow your visitors to post comments about, well… anything. A great application of this product is placement on your product promotion pages. My product reviews and presells almost all have this script on them to provide not only user generated content, but also testimonials and reviews from visitors. This dramatically improves my conversions and profits. Additionally, Site Comments is very user friendly and simple to install. It took me just a few minutes to install and load the script onto my pages.

You have many tasks to accomplish on a daily basis. If you take anything from this, at least notice the benefit of having other people periodically contribute to the growth of your website. This will free up some more of your time to work on other tasks online.
